Our History

The Evansville Community Partnership (ECP) is a registered non-profit organization focused on bringing people together to build a vibrant and caring Evansville Community.  We were founded in the spring of 2000 when forty citizens came together in a day-long retreat to discuss their dreams and hopes for this community.  They agreed to focus on:

♦      Bridging the gap between new and long-standing residents

♦      Improving the downtown

♦      Providing a space and programs for youth

♦      Providing a space and programs for seniors

♦      Improving the Lake Leota environment

♦      Improving cooperation among local governmental units
