PARADE REGISTRATION - A FEW RULES
ENTRY DEADLINE IS MONDAY, JUNE 15.
- If you are entering animals in the parade, you will need to bring a
clean up crew.
- We would love to see your float/entry reflect the theme of the parade;
however, please remember --- WE CAN NOT ALLOW WATER TO BE THROWN (OR SHOT)
FROM ANY FLOAT OR BY ANY PARADE PARITICIPANT.
- All units will be asked to enter the parade route by coming into town
via Old 92 and enter on the SOUTH end of 5th Street. You will see your unit
number on a sign on the west side of 5th Street. A map and more detailed
directions will be mailed at a later date. Your cooperation is greatly
appreciated and needed in order for everyone to be able to line up
correctly.
- Units will be judged and awards given for:
1) Best Overall "Dee Losey Award" with a cash prize of $100
2) Best Representation of Theme
3) Most Creative
4) Most Patriotic
Winners will be announced at the festival tent stage at 12:45pm on July 4th.
